Here at Sacramento HypnoBirthing, we are concerned about your safety and emotional well-being. We recognize the last thing you need during these challenging times is to have heightened anxiety around preparing for childbirth.

There’s no question that our daily life, healthcare system, and more will continue to be impacted over the coming weeks as the coronavirus pandemic continues to spread. 

You shouldn’t have to forgo your birthing education, which research shows is a vital component of preparing for the birth of your child, because of virus concerns. 

We will now offer our full-interactive childbirth curriculum for you to take from the comfort of your own home. Learn evidence-based techniques combined with deep relaxation and hypnosis instruction with the option of a private meeting with your instructor if you need personal assurance that you are “doing it right”. These are live, not recorded sessions, which give you the quality of the instructor’s attention as if you were in a classroom. 

 I welcome a telephone call or a Zoom meeting to answer any questions you may have.

More classes will be posted for 2024. It is best to register by your 16th week to give yourself plenty of time to practice and gain confidence in the skills taught.

For Early Bird Registration: Pre-registration and a non-refundable $75.00 deposit is required to hold a seat for the class. The deposit will be applied to the registration fee for the course. The balance of the course fee ($320.00) is due by registration closing.

Registration after the Early Bird deadline is $425.00.

BONUS : Early Bird registrants for the Standard Plus package receive an additional PRIVATE class two weeks prior to your expected arrival date. This class can focus on any material you choose, or can be used a general review/rehearsal for the birthing.

It is best to seek enrollment in classes no later than week 24 of your pregnancy. This will allow for adequate time in case you are put on a waiting list, and enough time for practice prior to the birthing of your baby as you finish your classes.

 

Oops. I’m way beyond 24 weeks. Can I still register? Am I able to still do hypnobirthing? 

Absolutely. While starting early gives you plenty of practice and repetition, which the subconscious mind loves, I’ve helped women in week 38 learn the tools to have an amazing birth.  However, earlier learning is better. Practice breeds confidence. 

Through HypnoBirthing® classes you will learn a unique method of childbirth education, which is enhanced by hypnosis, imagery, breathing, and relaxation techniques. This method wonderfully complements traditional health care. The curriculum emphasizes both pregnancy and childbirth.

Each HypnoBirthing® course is taught in a series of five, 2 -2 and1/2 hr classes.

The classes can be private or held in a group of up to five couples.

Early Bird Registration is $395 for our most popular program, Standard Plus. Registration after the early-bird date is $425. Included in the course registration fee  is attendance for two people, a copy of HypnoBirthing®, the Mongan Method, two CD’s for home practice support and several hypnosis scripts and handouts for the birthing partner.

A $75.00 non-refundable deposit is due with your registration; payment plans are available, including VISA and Master Charge. The balance is due before or at the beginning of the first class.

During COVID we have online childbirth classes and in person childbirth education classes. You choose! 

MY DOULA KNOWS HYPNOBIRTHING. DO  I STILL NEED THIS CLASS?

Great! It is best, but not necessary, to choose a doula familair with hypnobirthing if you want to fully implement the tools you learn in class. Unless your doula is Certified to teach HypnoBirthing, The Mongan Method you are not going to receive the full curriculum for hypnobirthing. There is a big difference between using the tools to have a successful HypnoBirth, and learning how to teach those tools to others so they, too can have a successful hypnobirthing experience. If you need help finding a doula who is familiar with hypnobirthing please ask. We do have a couple of referrals for you. We have a module in class where we discuss picking your birthing team. I’ll share how to choose a doula who is the right fit for you.
